Our heirloom seeds we save every year and replant to grow the next generation of gourds, year after year. Once grown, we dry out the gourd and drill a hole in the side for the birds and bottom for drainage, resulting in a natural birdhouse.

We do not paint or cure the gourd with anything in order to protect the birds that utilize the house.
